Sandviksboder Kystkultursenter

Sandviksboder cultural center including the Norwegian Fisheries Museum is a total of 5000 m2 building in stalls from 1600 and 1700, plus an outdoor area with docks, working and storage space and a good port.
Coastal Center is located in the offshore areas in the district of Sandviken just north of the city center and is part of a community of conservation and protected areas and close to the Old Bergen Museum, which also has a harbor.
Fisheries Museum, among other important archival material related to wooden boats. Furthermore, the museum has regular daily hours of operation, established marketing and information channels and a visibility that is expected to be beneficial also for the volunteers and the wider coastal culture. The museum will be fully opened in 2014.
